Il viaggio di LupoLupetto alla scoperta di Genova continua. Si ristorerà nei ristoranti di Sottoripa per poi partire all’inseguimento di un fantasma dei vicoli per recuperare il violino di Paganini. Visiterà il teatro Carlo Felice dove assisterà ad un concerto del grande musicista genovese. Ma i guai non mancheranno. I colori meravigliosi della fontana di Piazza De Ferrari lo inganneranno. Speriamo che con l’aiuto di Cristoforo e le vostre idee LupoLupetto se la cavi anche questa volta.

LupoLupetto’s journey to discover Genoa continues. He will refresh in Sottoripa’s restaurants and then set off to chase an alley’s ghost to retrieve Paganini’s violin. He will visit the Carlo Felice theatre where he will assist to a concert of the great Genoese musician. But the troubles will not miss. The wonderful colours of the De Ferrari square fountain will trick him. Let’s hope that with Christopher Columbus help and your ideas LupoLupetto will get by also this time.

LupoLupetto nasce da una proposta educativa creata dall’autrice per la scuola del Centro Culturale Italiano di Vancouver in Canada. Lo scopo del progetto era insegnare la lingua e la cultura italiana attraverso un’immersione nelle città Italiane, ricreando luoghi e situazioni di vita cittadina e presentando loro fatti storici e culturali in modo globale. Un modo per imparare facendo ed interagendo. La figura di LupoLupetto e la sua storia sono state create per accompagnare i più piccoli in quest’avventura. L’uso del Format Narrativo, della comunicazione Aumentativa e Alternativa (CAA) e le molteplici attività multisensoriali hanno dimostrato di favorire ampiamente l’apprendimento della lingua e la motivazione nell’avvicinarsi ad un linguaggio sconosciuto.

LupoLupetto was born from an educational project created by the author for the school of the Italian Cultural Centre in Vancouver, Canada. The purpose of the project was to teach Italian language and culture through an immersion in Italian cities, recreating places and situations of city life and presenting the children with historic and cultural facts in a comprehensive manner. A way of learning by doing and interacting. The character of LupoLupetto and his story was created for the youngest children to lead them in this adventure. The use of the Narrative Format, Augmentative and Alternative Communication and multiple multisensory activities have been shown to greatly enhance language learning and increase children’s motivation in approaching an unfamiliar language.
